Project Description
This major project had an overall contract value of £40 million to the main contractor Wates Construction. The Challenge from a network point of view was to keep the collages network fully operational during the relocation of the Main Distribution Facility (MDF)and each block that was either being renovated or built.
Main Points: –
- New MDF
- Full survey of existing Backbone and relicenses
- Installation of new Fibre Backbone Single mode and Multimode
- 5000x New Cat6 cabling data points over all buildings
- Project ran over 4 years
