Trans Comms was established in 2004 to satisfy the growing need for experienced engineers to work on a project-by-project basis installing structured cabling infrastructure (‘SCI’). Since then, our focus has changed to one of designing and installing SCI and this has become the heart of our business: it’s what we do best.
But we still offer experienced, highly-trained engineers and technicians for contract work, either on a direct basis by infrastructure owners or by those contractors engaged on specific installation projects. In fact, we are the SCI partner to some of the world’s leading organisations and we work closely with Europe’s top technology integration specialists and distributors.
We can provide specialist engineers and technicians in:
- data communications
- audio-visual systems
- telecommunications
- fibre optics
- BT systems and infrastructure
- electrical systems
- IT and integrated ICT systems
- building management systems (BMS)
- and who have MOD and Security clearance
Today, just as in 2004, we have a policy of ‘quality over quantity’ and set exacting and demanding standards for our engineers and technicians. All Trans Comms People are experts: they have to be capable of working on their own initiative and doing their own problem solving; they have to be committed to delivering work of the highest quality and often to tight schedules; they have to be dedicated and put the needs of their – our – clients first, and they have to be capable of acting as a Trans Comms’ company ambassador.
In addition to the skills and experience our engineers have, all new engineers receive initial training in-house. To ensure they continue to meet both our, and your, expectations, this foundation is built on using a combination of ongoing training from us; from CNet Training, the sole provider of certification and qualifications for data centre and network infrastructure professionals, and by training input from our OEM suppliers.
